ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. This hotel belongs from its opening to the Hunguest Hotel chain. From 2004 the hotel has the same management with the other Hunguest Hotels chain member Tulip Inn Budapest Millennium. The same management means advantages not only for the hotel, it is also for our guest and for our partners because the range of the services which we could offer for our guest become wider: the number of the offered room, the available room categories, and the wide variety and bigger capacity of the conference rooms. The staff of both hotel are working for the success of the hotels and for our guest and partners. Our 8 airconditioned conference rooms offer the possibility to organise a plenary event for maximum 200 attendant and after the plenary meeting to create section on the same time. The high quality service of the restaurant is the excellent background for the success of any kind of gatherings. In the public areas is the Wifi internet connection available. In the lobby area there is a bar where the guest can have a rest and drink a coffee, and there is also the possibility to get news from the actual newspaper or work on the lap top. The free scope of movement for disabled people, fitness center, medical welness and bio cosmetic,souvenir shop and the private parking lot make the hotel services really complete.

Hunguest Hotel Platánus is located in Budapest, in the neighbourhood of the biggest park of the city, called 'Népliget'. The 3 star hotel can be easily accessed from the downtown (by M3 blue metro line), as well as from Ferihegy International Airport. Owing to the ideal location and the pleasant establishment, Hunguest Hotel Platánus is a favourite accomodation for travellers and for businessmen, too.

Room description

The hotel has 133 rooms, 128 rooms are standard room, but the hotel also offers 5 superior room. All rooms are equipped with shower, colour TV, telephone and minibar. The equipment of our rooms is moderate first class, so it offers a comfortable ambience for the guests who choose our hotel. The 5 new superior rooms were equipped in the year 2006. One of these rooms is the specially equipped "honeymoonsuite" which offers a wide variety with his private jaccuzzi.
