ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. Zermatt Travel Guide

The beautiful town Zermatt is located on the Italian border in Switzerland in the canton Valais. It lies at the foot of the Matterhorn Mountain, which stands at a height of 4478 metres.

With about 300 sunny days a year, Zermatt is perfect for everyone who wants to enjoy a top class ski holiday in the highest area of the Alps.

Since 1947 only electric cars and buses without a combustion engine are allowed to drive in the town. This fact guarantees a clean, fresh air and the best conditions for all kinds of sports and activities.

A further highlight is the skiing facility in summer: about 20 kilometres of piste are on offer for 365 days a year!

The Vernissage is a unique venue which gives an insight into the new era of event gastronomy: a bar, lounge, restaurant, cinema - all in one! In the winter season the chef provides different tapas variations and other delicious snacks.

Stadel

The restaurant Stadel is well known for their Raclette and Fondue specialties. Specially selected wines and cheeses are served alongside the food.
