ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. DERTOUR moves to Comtec's Travelink system to boost bottom line performance

Comtec Group is pleased to announce the latest tour operator to migrate to its award winning Travelink product is German tour operator DERTOUR. Also known as DER Travel, the operator is the number one holiday provider to Germany, specializing in tailor-made holidays to Germany Austria and Switzerland. The deal was coordinated by Comtec's New Business Sales Manager Mario Berni.

Throughout its 49 years of operations in the UK, DERTOUR has won recognition for its specialist knowledge for Germany, Austrian and Switzerland, its high levels of customer service, and its expertise in providing customized travel arrangements by air, rail and car, ensuring high levels of repeat customers and 'through the roof' satisfaction levels.

Travelink was chosen specifically to maintain this reputation whilst giving DERTOUR the right platform to strategically grow the business over the next few years. The new functionality on the website, the real time pricing and the access to multiple distribution channels are already proving beneficial to DERTOUR and showing an uplift in sales.
