ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. STEEL in DERTOUR digital brand redevelopment

STEEL was recently appointed as digital agency by German tour operator, DERTOUR. STEEL was tasked with digital brand redevelopment, digital strategy, web design and build, digital marketing and PPC.

The first phase of the digital brand redevelopment has been brought to life through the new dertour.co.uk - DERTOUR's first e-commerce website.

Through the digital brand redevelopment, STEEL has strongly repositioned DERTOUR as 'the travel experts on the ground in the Germany, Austria, Switzerland and beyond.' All web functionality, content and every digital marketing touch point supports this bold positioning which is backed up by DERTOUR's heritage and experience.

A new look, feel and content strategy for eCRM has also been implemented by STEEL - to further support this brand position - with expert info and holiday suggestions now regularly emailed to the DERTOUR base.

The first release of the new website was designed and built in just 6 weeks. It features a fully functioning search and booking engine and is fully integrated with COMTEC's Travelink and Commidea, offering tailor-made holidays from a database of 32 airlines and over 520 hotels.

Rapid deployment and agile process was employed to turn this technical web build around in weeks, instead of months. Design and build ran in parallel, with significant input from user testing through every phase of the prototypes. A cost-effective, modular framework was employed to meet the launch date, which allows for further functional enhancements without the need to reengineer previous releases.

Highlights of STEEL's PPC activity so far include a PPC remarketing campaign to target users who have visited the DERTOUR homepage, across the Google content network - and 100% Growth MoM (Sep to Oct) in impressions and clicks for the DERTOUR brand.
