ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers travelling on an air inclusive holiday, which is managed by the Civil Aviation Authority. This protects you from losing your money or from being stranded overseas in the very unlikely event that DERTOUR should go out of business. Our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) number is ATOL 1839.

When you buy an ATOL protected air inclusive holiday* from us, you will receive a confirmation invoice from us (or via our authorised agent through which you booked) confirming your arrangements and your protection under our ATOL.

* The air inclusive holidays we arrange are ATOL protected providing either the person who pays for the booking is present in the UK when the booking is made or the first leg of any flight or flights we arrange for you commences in the UK. WIN A FOUR-STAR WEEKEND BREAK TO PRAGUE WITH DERTOUR'S CITY PICS FACEBOOK COMPETITON

Tailor-made city break specialist, Dertour, is running a 'City Pics' Facebook competition where the top prize is a four star weekend city break to Prague. Other prizes include five Nikon Coolpix compact digital cameras, ten DK Eyewitness Travel Guides to Europe and 50 cuddly toys.

To be in with a chance of winning, all participants have to do is email a photo taken by them on a European city break to competitions@dertour.co.uk and also include in the email why it was their best ever city break in no longer than 140 characters (the same length as a 'tweet').

A selection of the best entries will be posted on Facebook and celebrity travel journalist, Will Hide, will then pick his favourites to win the prizes. Will has written exclusively about travel for the last 12 years. He appears most often in the Times although he also writes for other prestigious publications such as British Airways High Life to the Sydney Morning Herald.
